While compact, our inspired little swings never feel small. The back and seat cushions are both an ample 2-feet square, though that isn’t what gives these airborne chairs their compelling sense of spaciousness. Credit for that goes to the 40-inch spreader bars, which hold the cotton-soft DuraCord hanging ropes open wide, so it seems as if the swing chairs grow larger the higher up you go.

We use DuraCord for the fabric as well, because it handles weather like a charm, resistant to staining, rot, mold and mildew, yet all the while is as soft as cotton. Not to mention that it’s amazingly colorfast, so while your own backyard garden fades at each summer’s end, our Trellis Garden Cushioned Single Swing’s vibrant stripes of spring-bright color will continue to hold their hues, for season after season.
